George Kilburn
CARDA first met George when he assisted us at a winter
course at Sun Peaks Resort near Kamloops BC. At the start of the course
George was "the cook" and by the end of that first day we had
discovered a new friend. His overwhelming kindness and love for dogs made
him an easy addition to the camp. As years passed and George's canine
exposure grew we remember him as a man that any dog could train. We thank
George for all of his efforts with CARDA and encourage everyone to live life to
its fullest as could be witnessed by knowing this one man.
Suzanne Watt
A Whistler resident and Level 2 Ski Instructor, Suzanne was a great friend of both the Whistler Mountain Ski Patrol and the Avalanche Rescue Dogs. Over the years Suzanne skied and hiked with her canine friends, often slipping them a doggie treat. To honour her memory at the time of her death, Suzanne's family and friends made donations to CARDA.
